Call out for participants! Are you a qualified dermatologist?

If you are a qualified dermatologist with an interest in supporting Clinical Research Studies, we have an opportunity for you. Read more to find out how you could be selected for an international, pivotal Phase II Clinical Research Study.

As you know, talkhealth is always working with NHS and commercial clients on projects that improve healthcare for our members and the wider patient community.

We are currently working with a UK-based biopharmaceutical company to recruit qualified dermatologists to support an international, pivotal Phase II Clinical Research Study. The aim of the trial is to assess treatment for a benign tumour, by providing central dermatology expertise to review any skin conditions as required across the study population.

The biopharmaceutical company will take the lead in the selection of appropriately qualified applicants.

The anticipated commitment will be from November 2021 for approximately three years, with the majority of the work expected in the first two years. Consistency of review and assessment of any dermatology events will require the successful applicants to be available for the duration of the Clinical Research Study.

For the first two years, the time commitment required is estimated to be 1 to 3 hours a week, with this being reduced for the remaining year. The selected dermatologists will be asked to review images of skin conditions and provide a diagnosis, both of which will be accessed and documented within a secure portal. The estimated number of images that will require review is estimated to be at 60 – 100.

If you are interested in providing your time and expertise as described, please complete a short survey. If your application is successful for the next stage of recruitment, you will be provided with the company details and a Confidentiality Agreement before further details of the Clinical Study is shared.
